Summer Glau was an American actress best famous for her role as River Tam in Firefly, a critically acclaimed television series. She also played Cameron as Cameron in Terminator. When Selena aged eighteen, she began her career as a member of a band created by her dad. Selena played lead guitar in the band along with her two older siblings Abraham junior playing base, and Sister Suzette playing the drums. Selena acted as the vocalist. Selena Y Los Dino band played at numerous venues, wedding fairs and restaurants with her older siblings. Selena as well as her siblings and their parents were always engaged in the band. They never really had an early childhood. But Abraham helped them become committed musicians through his dedication. Abraham senior was a member of the first band, named Los Dinos. Selena Y Los Dinos was officially formed in 1981. It was the group's principal activity, as well as its primary source of income for the family. Quintanilla was determined, despite having little money in the beginning. They worked toward becoming a winning family band. The perseverance paid back in the mid 1980's as Selena Y Los Dinos gained popularity in the west states.
